Integrative Oncology is defined as “patient-centered, evidence-based/informed field of cancer care that utilizes mind & body practices, natural products and/or lifestyle modifications from different traditions alongside conventional treatments.

Patients are active partners in this type of practice as they are taking charge of diet & lifestyle factors to make positive changes in their health.

Aspects include sleep, stress, social interactions, spirituality, exercise, diet, nutrition, gut function, toxin exposure and use of supplements.

After treatment patients often suffer from neuropathy, pain, fatigue and hot flashes.

A nurse coach can address these symptoms.

If you have asked yourself

#1 - “Should I take supplements?”,

#2 - “What type of diet is best for breast cancer during treatment and survival?”,

#3 - “How much should I exercise?”

#4 - “What about toxins? How safe are personal care products?”
